Wanted: A Very Special Cat Lover!
Jakie
was one of two semi-feral male cats fed by and friendly with occupants of a senior complex in West Haven. Unfortunately, he came out second best in a fight. He was taken to a vet for repairs and has recovered nicely. Jakie is very reserved as once-feral cats are but is responding nicely to care and affection - he is very playful, loves to be petted and brushed, and purrs profusely when sitting on your lap. He has a soft, shiny black coat and gold eyes. He is FIV positive (not a risk for humans) and cannot be allowed outside. We must find a home for him as we can’t let him mix with our own cats. Jakie is probably seven or eight years old, is current with his shots and has been neutered. He is a lap cat and will respond positively in a home of his own and reward his special caretaker (he must have been abused by a man at some point) with love and companionship. Phone (203) 281-1632 or email petejhnsn@sbcglobal.net.
