Halfway Home Rescue, Inc.
"from homeless to happiness"

Foster Program

Halfway Home always needs foster homes. The best place for a homeless animal is in a loving home while waiting for a forever home to be found. As a foster care provider you will be giving an animal the love and attention it so desperately needs. Halfway Home provides all veterinary care for foster pets.

Halfway Home is searching also for foster parents with lots of free time to work with our more timid cats so these animals can be more outgoing, friendly and trusting when meeting potential new families.

Foster families are especially needed during Spring and Summer months for mom cats with nursing kittens as well as foster homes to bottle feed orphaned kittens until they’re ready to be adopted.

A foster home means that the foster animal participates in your family's normal routine and activities. A foster home helps the animal adjust to a new environment easier. The role of a foster care provider is very instrumental in saving animals. Without foster care providers some of these pets would have nowhere to go. A foster home offers these deserving animals a second chance for a happy life and a forever home.

It takes a special person to foster a pet. If you would like more information or would like to be considered as a foster home, call us at (203) 985-8338 or click here to email us.
